Nashua, NH ARC has been contracted by the Department of Defense to design a functional replacement for the Phase Shift Test PST-A component for the AN/TPN-25 phase shifter. ARC will also design a test fixture to test the Hybrid Microelectronic Device, a component of the phase shifter. Since there is no documentation in the form of schematic or mechanical drawings for the Phase Shift Test PST-A component, ARC will reverse engineer the functionality of the PST-A based upon information available in the test procedure provided to ARC as well as the existing PST-B. In order to test the completed phase shifters, ARC will also reverse engineer the existing components to the PST through the available documentation and existing equipment. The basic function of the PST-A is to control the control pulses provided to the phase shifter under test in the PST-B fixture.
