Friday, September 19th, 2008 Nashua, NH – ARC Technology Solutions has announced an awarded contract by the Department of Defense (DoD). Under this contract, ARC has committed to developing multiple Test Program Sets (TPS) and Interface Test Adapters (ITA) for the DoD Base’s TRC-170 Radio Control Set. The TPS’s will allow for troubleshooting and repair of eight Circuit Card Assemblies (CCA) contained within, as well as the top level Radio Control Set. ARC will develop these items for use on their own Mixed Signal Automated Test (MSAT) system. The MSAT system will allow the DoD to efficiently test and troubleshoot a variety of assemblies on a common platform. The FAA has also chosen the MSAT system, which they currently have deployed as the backbone of their depot support for mixed signal assemblies within the U.S. National Airspace System (NAS). “We are excited that our MSAT system has been selected as the platform of choice for the DoD,” said Ken Collins, President of ARC. “The MSAT will expand the DoD’s testing capabilities by shortening test development time and improving hardware and software standardization. While helping the DoD control their future test development costs, the MSAT will also greatly reduce their test department sustainment costs.” Headquartered in Nashua, NH, ARC Technology Solutions is one of the nation’s leading providers of system sustainment and functional test solutions.
